It was the September of 2021 when John Ashton, Learning and Development manager at Advanced Supply Chain, reached out to us here at Total Training Provision. John had one goal – to invest and upskill his current workforce. We were confident here at TTP that we could not only meet those goals but surpass them. We offered a variety of short courses to upskill employees so they could excel in their roles – from head office to shop floor, there were opportunities for everyone to improve on their existing skill set.
After the turbulent years of lockdown, Advanced Supply Chain was keen to empower their employees through new opportunities and learning. John noted the difficulties of not being able to get individuals into a classroom. This was familiar ground for TTP, however we had found ways to navigate this through the lockdown which would ensure a successful roll out of professional development at Advanced Supply Chain.
One of the attributes that made this partnership so successful was our shared goal of training for everyone – or in Johns words ”all-encompassing training”. Advanced Supply Chain are passionate about allowing all employees to reach their potential, actively offering employees the tools needed to progress within their career.
It is this very training and investment in their staff that enables apprentices new to a sector to progress to general manager of a branch in years to come. We are proud that Advanced Supply Chain recognised our versatility. This very sentiment is what the founder of the company, Paul Hoyle, encapsulated so perfectly when he said TTP’s focus was ‘quality provision for every learner’.
