The Level 3 Diploma in Wellbeing and Holistic Therapy is a hands-on qualification for learners aged 16+, designed to prepare you for a rewarding career as a holistic and wellbeing practitioner. Training takes place in professional, spa-style environments, allowing you to develop confidence and competence in delivering personalised treatments that support both body and mind.

Throughout the course, you’ll learn key holistic techniques such as aromatherapy, holistic massage, acupressure, Indian head massage, and lymphatic drainage. These therapies are used to promote deep relaxation, reduce stress, and improve overall health and wellbeing. You’ll also study essential areas including anatomy and physiology, health and safety, client consultation, and aftercare, helping you build strong communication skills and the ability to tailor each treatment to individual client needs.

As part of your role, you’ll learn how to create safe, comfortable, and supportive environments for clients, offering thoughtful guidance to enhance their wellbeing beyond the treatment room. You may work independently or as part of a wider team alongside beauty therapists, spa practitioners, and other health professionals. The qualification also helps you understand how to contribute to the success of a business by delivering excellent client experiences and encouraging repeat visits.

Optional units may be available depending on the provider, allowing you to expand your knowledge in areas such as crystal therapy, mindfulness practices, nutrition for wellbeing, or spa rituals. Entry requirements typically include a Level 2 beauty or complementary therapy qualification, or a successful interview and skills assessment.
