What does this qualification cover?
This qualification aims to provide learners with advanced knowledge and specialist skills in professional barbering. It focuses on developing precision techniques, creative cutting and styling, and a deeper understanding of modern and traditional barbering practices. Learners will also gain strong client consultation skills, knowledge of industry standards, and the ability to work safely and professionally within a barbershop environment.
Who is it suitable for?
This qualification is ideal for those with existing barbering experience who wish to enhance their technical ability, progress in the industry or move into more senior or creative roles. Learners will develop a wide range of advanced barbering techniques, explore current trends in men’s grooming, and refine their understanding of shaving, clipper work, fading and styling principles. This qualification supports professional development but does not licence learners to teach or assess barbering.
