What does this qualification cover?
This qualification aims to provide learners with advanced knowledge and skills in professional hairdressing, focusing on creative techniques, specialist services and the underpinning principles required for high-level salon work. It develops technical ability, artistic confidence and an in-depth understanding of industry standards, client care and safe working practices.
Who is it suitable for?
This qualification is ideal for those who already have hairdressing experience and want to enhance their professional practice, progress within the industry or take on more creative or senior roles. Learners will develop a range of advanced hairdressing techniques, explore current trends, and gain a deeper understanding of colour theory, cutting and styling principles, and client consultation skills. This qualification prepares learners for professional progression but does not licence them to teach or assess hairdressing.
