PROCESS

Learner journey and next steps

We want to ensuring that your journey is tailored to match your unique goals. While everyone’s path and milestones may vary, here are the common steps you can anticipate taking.

IAG & Skills Scan
When you begin your journey with us, we want to make sure you are on the right course for your personal and professional goals. This will also support you in understanding what your time on programme will look like.

Initial & Diagnostic Assessments
You will complete a series of screeners to determine your already existing skills, knowledge and behaviours - this way we can tailor your learning to meet your individual needs

Functional Skills
Whilst on programme, if you do not already have your maths & English, you will complete this alongside your course. You will need provide your certificates in order to be exempt from re-taking these.

Time on Programme
Whilst on programme, you will have monthly visits from your Skills Coach to make sure you are on track with your learning plan and off the job hours. They will arrange with you and your line manager to arrange an appropriate date.

Off the Job hours
You are now required to complete 6 hours a week of off the job hours. This is a documentation of everything new you have learnt and skills you have gained whilst within your role.

End Point Assessment
This will be your chance to prove to your EPAO the new skills, knowledge and behaviours you have gained whilst on programme. You will receive preparation time, called gateway, to make sure you are ready.
