What Will Be Covered?

You will develop a solid understanding of the key principles behind domestic retrofit and energy-efficient home improvements. The course explores how buildings lose heat, the impact of insulation and ventilation, and the importance of improving a property’s overall performance.
You will also learn about common retrofit measures, environmental and safety requirements, and how sustainable practices support national decarbonisation goals. Throughout the programme, you will build the knowledge needed to support retrofit projects within housing, construction, or property maintenance settings.

What Will I Gain?

Upon successful completion of the programme, you will receive an accredited Level 2 Domestic Retrofit certificate through the post.
You will also have access to support in exploring your next steps, including progression onto further Level 2/3 training, employability programmes, or roles linked to housing, construction, and energy-efficient home improvement.
