Level 3
Housing & Property Management

Housing and Property Management professionals are responsible for creating and sustaining successful tenancies while delivering high-quality housing services across the social and private rented sectors. They work closely with tenants, landlords, colleagues and external partners to provide advice, resolve tenancy issues, manage rent and property-related concerns, ensure compliance with relevant legislation and contribute to safe, sustainable communities.

The role requires strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills, alongside the ability to respond professionally to a wide range of customer needs. Professionals may support tenants through difficult circumstances, manage complaints, coordinate repairs and maintenance, and help ensure properties and services meet the required standards.

Housing and Property Management professionals can be found across a wide range of organisations, including local authorities, housing associations, private landlords, property management companies, estate and letting agencies, supported housing providers, student accommodation providers, charities and organisations delivering housing-related services.
